Escaping a horrendous raid on her village, a beautiful Cherokee maiden strikes out on foot alone. She is soon joined by two unusual traveling companions. In the rocky wilderness Chewahnih crosses paths with a dying man that has her horse that was taken in the raid that left her homeless and alone.
